Anacondas are among the heaviest snakes in the world, and they are mainly found in the tropical rainforests of South America.

This Instagram video shows an anaconda crossing a busy road, while passers-by and drivers snap pictures and take videos of the giant snake. Because of its sheer size, the anaconda disrupted traffic and drivers had to stop their vehicles and wait patiently until it disappeared into the grass.

The man recording the video came very near to the anaconda to take a close-up video of the reptile as it left the road.
