Four-year-old Pekin duck Rudy and golden retriever Barclay have formed a strong bond since their first encounter, when the dog discovered just how tasty stolen duck food is.
The courageous duck started chasing the golden retriever after it stole food from its bowl, but the pair have since put aside their differences from this initial quarrel and formed a pretty unusual friendship. Their owner compares them to her sons, as they also have a love-hate relationship. When they play together, they constantly charge at one another, but when they are separated, they’re always looking for each other, she said.
