Doggie Doubles! Cloned Guard Pooches Prepare for Service in Siberia
08:52 GMT 04.12.2017 (Updated: 19:32 GMT 19.10.2022) These two Belgian Malinois shepherd dogs, Tom and Jack, were created from the cells of the most revered sniffer dog in one of the world’s leading dog cloning laboratories in 2015. Later the dogs were transferred to Yakutia to assist Russian law enforcement agencies.
According to specialists, the cloned canines inherited unique abilities from the sniffer pooch, and they are noticeably stronger and more muscular than dogs conceived naturally. Now that they have adapted to the Siberian cold, the Shepherds will protect the correctional colony and search for escaped prisoners.
