In a surprising rescue attempt, which was captured on video on October 9, 2017, a factory worker in the town of Samut Prakan, Thailand, used an "old jungle trick" to free the 10-foot-long (3-meter-long) snake trapped inside the car. Rahjit Phan from Cambodia bit hard onto its tail, making the python loosen its grip.
After the three-hour struggle, which involved four men pulling the python with all their strength, the snake was finally set free.
