    A group of extinct animals, including an adult male and female and two calves, which were found together back in 2002 in Tomsk, Russia, will be sold on November 21 at Summers Place Auctions in Billingshurst, West Sussex.

    The collection of four prehistoric mammoth skeletons had been exhibited across Germany and Switzerland in 2004-2007 and now will find a new home in a museum, a company's atrium or a private collection somewhere around the world. The unique "item" is expected to fetch up to 400,000 pounds (almost $528,000).

    This is not the first time the mammoths are going under the hammer at the auction in Billingshurst. The huge skeleton of the Ice Age creature was on sale in November 2014.
