Delia Bronkhorst was on a safari trip watching a huge herd of buffalo at South Africa’s Kruger National Park when something unusual caught her eye – it was a mongoose swinging back and forth on a snake hanging from a tree.

What the fierce animal was actually doing is killing a venomous serpent and trying to get it down. Unfortunately, the grass was too high for the safari-goer to see (and capture on  video) the mongoose enjoy his well-deserved meal.
