A terrifying moment the right engine of the aircraft accidentally caught fire after a takeoff was snapped by a witness flying to the Russian city of Irkutsk on September 30.

As seen from the footage, the An-148 passenger plane had most likely suffered a compressor stall. According to local media, the plane made a successful landing at the airport of departure, Talakan. An investigation of the incident's causes is underway.
