A video appeared online showing an alleged iPhone 8 rear shell at a Taiwan-based Foxconn Technology Group plant.

Apple is expected to release iPhone 8, which will be the 10th anniversary of the legendary device, later this year.

Apple Inc, along with a number of software and computer technology giants such as Google, HP, Blackberry Ltd., Acer, Amazon and Cisco, is one of the major customers of Foxconn.

Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, has been involved in several controversies regarding employee treatment.
