Making the Skies Friendly Again? Kid Fist Bumps His Way Into Passengers’ Hearts

Subscribe
That moment you realize a child is making a more glamorous entrance than you.

Boarding his Southwest Airlines flight, two-year-old Guy Jakubowicz gave every passenger he passed a fist-bump – even the most distracted ones – as he dragged along his blankie.

"Grown men were chuckling and laughing, saying how great he was; he even encouraged those with their heads in a screen to look up and interact in the positive way," Alya Jakubowicz, the toddler's mom, told ABC.

The love for fist-bumping began when Guy was 18 months old, when a man on a plane taught him the ways of being “cool,” Alya shared with NBC.

Guy’s not alone in winning the hearts of air travelers, though. His 6-year-old sister also welcomes everyone on a flight. Talk about a (kindergarten) class act.
