To get to the Baltic Sea for a Navy Day parade in St. Petersburg, Russia’s heavy nuclear battlecruiser Pyotr Veliky and the nuclear-powered submarine Dmitriy Donskoi sailed through international waters.

Pyotr Velikiy, the flagship of the Russian Northern Fleet, and Dmitriy Donskoi, the world's largest nuclear submarine, arrived in Kronstadt port for participation in the main nationwide Navy Day parade, which will be held in St. Petersburg and Kronstadt on July 30. Dozens of ships and submarines of the Baltic, the Black Sea, the Northern Fleets and the Caspian Flotilla will take part in the first large-scale naval parade in the history of St. Petersburg.
