Sir, I’m going to need your license and registration please.

Showing of his impressive landing skills, Jim O’Donnell had no choice but to land on Sunrise Highway in Yaphank, New York, after suffering some mechanical failures just seconds after taking off from the Brookhaven Airport.

"It wasn’t good, but here I am," O’Donnell told ABC 7’s NJ Burkett. "No bent metal."

Hours after capturing the footage, Thomas Lupski, was still in shock. To his defense, the plane did nearly clip his car as it came in for its grand finale.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the miraculous moment. The plane, a Cessna 206, ended up getting towed back to the airport.
