Aussie Fishermen 'Sweep' a Shark Away With a Broom

Subscribe
In this video, published by an Australian charter service, Salty Dog Charters, fishermen push a white pointer shark away from their boat with a red broom.

On April 5, these men were near Port Fairy, Australia, when a shark started to circle their boat. The crew shoved away the shark to keep it from biting the motor and damaging the boat. They dubbed the unwelcome guest "Black Betty," after a song that was playing in the background during their encounter.  Betty didn't suffer in any way from the broom pushes.
