On Thursday, hundreds of students gathered in Sevastopol to celebrate the third anniversary of Crimea's reunification with Russia and express the sense of unity prevailing on the peninsula.

The students carried with them pieces of white, blue and red paper. They then held the paper up, forming a huge Russian flag. A drone flew over them to capture the installation in all its glory.

In the referendum of March 16, 2014, over 80% of Crimeans came out to a referendum organized by Crimean authorities.

The Magnificent Dance of the Laysan Albatross

The albatross is one of the largest birds on the planet - perhaps the most romantic seabird in the wild. The albatross has long been considered a good omen for sailors who see the birds as an auspicious sign, and some believe that albatrosses are the souls of dead sailors.
