These enthusiasts attempted to claim the title for "the most people in a floating line" at Laguna de Epecuen on January 29. According to the Guinness World Record website, the previous record was set in 2014 by 634 people floating in a line at Sun Moon Lake in Nantou County, Taiwan. It would take around two months to get the new attempt officially approved.
