This rhesus macaque from Kareli, a town in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, formed an unusual bond with a stray puppy. The monkey adopted it as if it is its own baby, carefully holds the pup in its arms and carries it through the city's streets. Local people gathered around to take pictures of the two animals and give them some treats.
