    Isn't it amazing to watch how far a mother would go for her child, risking her life to save her only baby.

    The average female rat can produce up to five litters a year; the average size of each litter is seven rats. This would lead you to think that a rat's mousy maternal instincts aren't very strong. However, this fearless rodent was able to save her only baby from a horrendous snake attack.
