Meanwhile in Russia: Elephants Roaming Siberia

Stereotypes about biting Siberian snow storms are becoming a thing of the past as four heat-loving elephants take a stroll in the Russian city of Magnitogorsk.

All joking aside, this surreal picture can be explained by the arrival of a circus letting its elephants walk around the area. The current temperature in Magnitogorsk, located in Southern Siberia, has hit 23°C.

Scientifically speaking, elephants are descendants of mammoths that actually inhabited Siberia among other places.
