Lords of the Sky: Russian Knights, Swifts and Night Hunters Make a Stir
10:00 GMT 22.05.2016 (Updated: 19:27 GMT 19.10.2022) A gorgeous aerobatics demonstration involving Russia's top-class teams decorated the sky in the Moscow Region on May 21.
You can see the blue Su-27 jets of the Russian Knights team — the unique group performing stunts with heavy fighters, as well as the Swifts (Strizhi) brandishing their red MiG-29 planes. The teams also flew in the Kubinka Diamond formation showing off their joint signature move. Several Mi-28N Night Hunter assault helicopters augmented the aerial spectacle.
