'Dharminator': Robotic Monk Teaches Buddhism in China

Beijing's Longquan temple has introduced a robotic Buddhist monk called "Xianer" which can talk to worshippers, chant mantras and move.

The unique device called "Xianer" is 60 centimeters tall and has a touch screen on its chest. Believers can select any of 20 questions about Buddhism and everyday life, and the robot will provide an answer.
