A Japanese sword master demonstrated the ancient Samurai art of iaido – the skill of drawing the sword from the scabbard and slashing the target in the blink of an eye.

Today in Japan people practice this skill paying tribute to their ancient traditions. But in the old times iaido could be even more important than the actual combat: a master survived while his opponent fell dead in less than a second.

Isao Machii, who sliced the ball into two parts, is a renowned master.

Here he cuts a real bullet in flight.
