Whale of a Tale: Kayakers Nearly Crushed by Breaching Humpback

If you’ve ever wondered what, exactly, made Ahab so angry at the famed white whale, it may be that he was almost crushed to death in his kayak.

These two kayakers were taking part in a Sanctuary Cruises whale tour off the coast of Moss Landing, California. While neither were injured, it’s probably safe to say they’ve lost their sea legs.

Or they’ll be filled with delusions of grandeur and set off on an ultimately doomed voyage of revenge.
