University of California researchers have figured out a way to use SMS messages to hack a car and control its brakes.

The video shows how the a simple text message can actually hack a car. By tapping into an insurance black box, the researchers were able to control the car's wipers, as well as its break. What's more, the researchers claim that this new hacking method can be adapted to access other systems in other cars.
