09:52 GMT 05.05.2015 (Updated: 19:24 GMT 19.10.2022) A couple of wild boars broke into the calm Latvian capital. Police patrols started a chase operation, supervised by mayor Nils Usakovs.
After an attritional chase, one of the pigs gave up but the other hoggie broke out and continued the run. Police had to resort to a taser to finally catch the escapee.
Both of the boars were safe, and after having a good refreshing sleep, they were released into the wild.
