The erption of Volcano Calbuco in Chile has been captured by several photographers, with spectacular images of plume of smoke and ash going viral. This video, however, manages to show something truly unique — the exact moment the volcano erupted.

A tourist hiking on the Llanquigue National Reserve, some distance away from the mountain itself, was videotaping the surrounding forest. Approximately 28 seconds later, the volcano erupts, sending smoke and ash seven miles up into the air.

The man can be heard exclaiming "Wow!" as he captures the moment.
