Japan’s 60 Feet Snow Walls

Subscribe
Turns out, Japan does get a lot of snow. To the point that Japanese authorities had to dig out their roads and create a majestic snow corridor with snow walls reaching up over 20 meters (60 feet).

Drone footage shows the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, crossing the 3,000 meter-high (almost 10,000 feet) Northern Japan Alps.

This particular area in Japan receives one of the heaviest snowfalls yearly; reaching almost 7 meters (23 feet) on average.
