A chestnut colored stallion named Khorezm, belonging to Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov, brought victory to his owner at the Presidential Prize horse races in Rostov-on-Don. Bursting with emotions, Kadyrov kissed the horse to the applause of the spectators.
Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov presented Kadyrov the prize and a bronze statue of a saddled horse with a jockey.
Stallions named Sunshine Lemon and Art Master from Tatarstan’s police horse club came in second and third respectively.
The Russian Presidential Prize horse races were held within Racing Day
at the Rostov racetrack. The purse totaled 7 million rubles this year.
