    On Thursday, the United States, joined by the United Arab Emirates and Israel, announced a deal between the three countries that envisages the normalization of relations between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, with the Jewish state agreeing to halt its plans to extend its sovereignty over the West Bank territories

    US President Donald Trump is holding a press conference in Washington DC, following a joint statement by the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Israel announcing a trilateral deal between the countries

    According to the deal, the UAE and Israel are expected to sign a series of agreements on direct flights, investment, security, technology and more, along with the establishment of diplomatic ties.

    Under the deal, named 'Abraham Accord', Israel would also agree to halt its plans to declare its sovereignty over the parts of the West Bank .
