Isaias, the second-named hurricane of the 2020 season, has reached the US state of Florida as a tropical storm, bringing heavy rains that could lead to flash flooding.

A live broadcast from Chincoteague, Virginia, shows tropical storm Isaias heading north after making landfall on the Bahamas on 1 August.

According to meteorologists, the storm is continuing to moving up the coast still carrying dangerous, life-threatening wind and rain, despite being downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm. Isaias now has maximum sustained winds of 70 mph.
