    Riots Sweep US After Black Man Dies During Police Arrest (129)

    Demonstrations that have spanned all 50 of the United States for over a week were sparked by the killing of an African-American Minneapolis resident, George Floyd, who died during arrest, held to the ground by the knee of white police officer Derek Chauvin.

    Anti-police brutality protests over the killing of George Floyd by a police officer have continued in Minneapolis on Friday, as all four policemen involved in his death have been placed under arrest

    Earlier, a private memorial service for Floyd was held in Minneapolis.

    His death has sparked a nationwide wave of protest covering all 50 states and most large urban areas in the US and in several nations and cities abroad.
