    COVID-19 Puts Nations on Hold (281)

    The United States has so far registered the highest number of COVID-19 cases globally - 568,176, according to the Johns Hopkins University count, while at least 22,935 people have died from the disease.

    President Trump and other members of the Coronavirus Task Force are holding a press briefing on the COVID-19 situation in the country on Monday.

    A state of emergency has been declared in all 50 states – for the first time in US history – due to coronavirus. The state of New York has been hit the most by the disease, with more than 195,000 COVID-19 infections.
