According to the St. Paul Police Department, officers are investigating a crash and shooting that occurred on Snelling Avenue. A 19-year-old woman was hit by a car several blocks from the fair, and later shots were fired. At the moment, there is no official information about the victim's condition. It is also unclear if the shooting and the crash are related.
We are investigating a pedestrian crash and shooting that occurred outside of the main gate of the Minnesota State Fair. One person confirmed shot, condition unknown at this time.

The Minnesota State Fair is a large event, usually attended by thousands of people from across the state. Last Sunday, the fair even broke attendance records with 250,000 people enjoying the festivities.
