    US Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Moon Mission by Launching 5,000 Estes Rockets (Video)

    The staff of the US Space and Rocket Centre will commence the event at precisely 8:32 a.m. Central Time (13:32 GMT), which is the same time as the historic lunar mission launch. Later in the day, Astronaut Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin will also give a speech at the Aerospace States Association Dinner.

    The US Space and Rocket Centre in Huntsville, Alabama is launching 5,000 Estes rockets to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, which brought American astronauts to the Moon. The event will also set a new Guinness World Record.
