WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Nearly half of Democratic voters in the 2016 US presidential election either believe the Democratic primary election was rigged to choose Hillary Clinton as the party’s nominee or are unsure whether Clinton won the nomination fairly, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports on Thursday.
"Only 54 percent of likely Democratic voters believe Clinton won last year’s Democratic presidential nomination fairly," a press release explaining the poll stated. "Twenty-seven percent say the party’s electoral system was rigged against challenger Bernie Sanders, while 19 percent are undecided."
Brazile temporarily took over the DNC after hacked emails exposed insider efforts to prevent Clinton opponent, Bernie Sanders, from winning the nomination.
The book has become an instant best seller, with the first printing of a hardcover edition selling out within days of its release, according to Amazon.

Separately, in her book dedicated to the 2016 US election called "What Happened," Clinton has blamed not only so-called Russian hackers and former FBI Director James Comey for her loss, but also Bernie Sanders, claiming that his attacks during debates "paved the way" for Trump. In his turn, the independent US senator responded on "The Late Show," saying that Clinton should "move forward."
