MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Several people died in a shooting at a Walmart retail store in Thornton near Denver in the US state of Colorado, local police said.
Earlier, the police reported that two people lost their lives in shooting and one was injured. It was reported later that woman who was injured had died, which brought the death toll up to three people.
"Shooting just occurred at Walmart, 9900 Grant St, multiple parties down," the Thornton Colorado Police Department tweeted.

The Denver channel reported that police officers were called to the scene at around 6 p.m. local time. They were searching the store for the shooter whose identity was unknown. The police also reported that there was no active shooter, adding later that no one was in custody.
