Goal of Trump Election Commission 'to Put Facts on Table'
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Trump also said during the meeting that it is up to the commission to prevent voter fraud, voter intimidation and voter suppression.

"This commission is tasked with the sacred duty of upholding the integrity of the ballot box," Trump stated.

Vice President Mike Pence, who is the co-chair of the commission, said the goal of their work is to study voter registration and look for vulnerabilities that could lead to improper voter registration and improper voting.

Trump has claimed he lost the popular vote in the 2016 election because three million people voted illegally.
