Ex-Trump Aide Manafort Discloses Information to US on Ukraine-Related Lobbying
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — According to an investigation conducted by Politico, there is credible evidence to suggest that Ukrainian top government officials have continuously interfered in the US presidential election, in particular by seeking to implicate top Trump aide in a corruption scheme.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a $50,000-a-month contract with a Republican lobbying firm to assist in setting up meetings with government officials in an effort to "strengthen the US-Ukrainian relations," the newspaper reported.

"I’d be happy to dig into it," Wray stated, when asked whether he would look into the matter.

Senator Lindsey Graham was questioning Wray about the Politico article published in January and claiming that the high ranking officials of the Ukrainian government meddled in the 2016 election.

Wray said that he had not heard about these allegations.

"I have no idea if they are true, but would you agree with me that if they are true that is wrong for Ukraine to be involved with our elections," Graham inquired.

"Yes, Senator," Wray replied.
