The US House of Representatives would overwhelmingly pass the new Senate bill on sanctions against Iran and Russia if it came up for a vote now, House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Adam Schiff said in a press briefing on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — "We stand ready, I think, on a very bipartisan basis, to pass Senate bill overwhelmingly," Schiff stated. "I have no doubt if that came up for a vote tomorrow it would pass overwhelmingly. Certainly, these events give added urgency to doing exactly that."
