At least four people, including 10- and 12-year-old children, have been injured as the result of a shooting in Jersey City, US, media reported, citing officials.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The incident happened on Wilkinson Avenue around 9 p.m. local time on Sunday (01:00 GMT on Monday), according to the WPIX television channel.

One of the victims of the shooting was likely a young man who was shot in the back, according to the broadcaster.

All of the victims were taken to the Jersey City Medical Center following the shooting, WPIX reported.
