    US President Donald Trump is going to nominate Elaine Duke as the number two person at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the White House said in a press release.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Duke previously served as DHS Under Secretary in the administrations of presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama and was responsible for the management of the department's $47 billion budget, according to the web site of her company Elaine Duke & Associates.

    "The president today announced his intent to nominate Elaine C. Duke of Virginia to be Deputy Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security," the release stated on Monday.
