Only One of Two Detained Persons Responsible for Deadly Quebec Mosque Attack

Police have arrested one suspect, identified as Alexandre Bissonnette, in the deadly attack on a mosque in Quebec City, Canada, US media reported on Monday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — A second person detained after the attack was a witness, NBC News reported.

On Sunday, a gunman attacked the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Center, killing six people and injuring 17 others.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called the deadly shooting spree a terrorist attack.
