Rex Tillerson claims that the United States should make clear to China that it should stop building in disputed areas of the South China Sea.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States should make clear to China that it should stop building in disputed areas of the South China Sea, secretary of state nominee Rex Tillerson told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

"We’re going to have to send China a clear signal that first, the island-building stops, and second, your access to those islands is not going to be allowed," Tillerson stated on Wednesday.
