WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The PIC said that the official part of the inauguration will continue with a welcome concert on January 19th and will end on January 21 with a national prayer service.

However, more inaugural events, including several dinners, parades and a ball honoring the US armed forces and first responders, will be held over a five day period, the release added.

"The 2017 inaugural celebrations will reflect President-elect Trump’s eagerness to get to work in order to make our country safer and stronger," PIC Chairman Tom Barrack stated in the release.

On November 8, Trump won the US presidential election by gaining more than the required 270 electoral votes.
