Some 3,000 journalists participated in the survey to determine the most influential person of the year from a list of 30 people that were selected by the agency's chief editors.
On November 8, Trump won the US presidential election by gaining a major electoral lead over his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. The inauguration of the US president-elect will take place on January 20.
