US Adds Individuals, Entities to Russia Sanctions List - Treasury

Washington sanctioned seven Russian citizens, eight entities and two vessels due to activities related to the conflict in Ukraine, according to the statement of the US Department of the Treasury.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States has introduced sanctions against seven Russian citizens, eight entities and two vessels, the US Department of the Treasury said in a release on Tuesday.

"The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) updated the Specially Designated Nationals List and the Sectoral Sanctions Identifications List to target sanctions evasion and other activities related to the conflict in Ukraine," the release stated.
