The United States will work with other countries to destroy Daesh terror group, President-elect Donald Trump said in a statement condemning Monday's deadly truck-ramming attack on a Christmas market in Berlin, Germany.
"These terrorists and their regional and worldwide networks must be eradicated from the face of the earth, a mission we will carry out with all freedom-loving partners," Trump’s statement promised.
Germany’s Interior minister Thomas de Maiziere said the incident may have been an act of terrorism. A similar conclusion was expressed in a statement by US National Security Council spokesman Ned Price.
