The majority of Americans think the business interests of President-elect Donald Trump will create conflicts that affect his decisions in office, according to a CBS News poll released Thursday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – "Do you think Donald Trump's business relationships create a conflict of interest that is likely to affect how he makes decisions as president, or don't you think they do?" poll respondents were asked, according to CBS News.

In response, 59 percent said "Yes, conflict of interest." Thirty-eight percent said there wouldn’t be a conflict, and 3 percent either said they didn’t know or didn’t answer the question.

The survey also found that 34 percent of Americans believe Trump will be a good or very good president, while 23 percent think he will be an average president. Those numbers were strongly influenced by respondents’ party affiliation, with 60 percent of Democrats saying he will be a poor president and 70 percent of Republicans predicting Trump will be good or very good.

In another part of the poll, 60 percent of respondents say Trump uses his personal Twitter account too much.
