US President-elect Donald Trump's campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said that she was still receiving death threats from former US Secretary of State and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's supporters.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — In an interview with the MSNBC broadcaster on Thursday, Conway criticized Washington Post for publishing an op-ed, which said that she provided "a platform for white supremacy", thus, fueling anger of Clinton supporters.

"Anytime I respond, anytime I defend myself against these… allegations that are now leading to death threats… I'm seen as ungracious," Conway said.

Conway was a key figure in Trump's electoral campaign since August 17. She was appearing on the main TV channels every day to defend and explain his views.

On November 8, Trump won the US presidential election receiving more electoral votes than his rival Clinton, who got more popular votes. Trump's victory in the US presidential election has provoked protests across the country against the president-elect.
