US President-elect Donald Trump's nominees for cabinet positions in his administration are scary, US Senate minority leader Harry Reid said in an interview released on Thursday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The senator, who represents the US state of Nevada, specifically noted his concern that, Trump's choice for education secretary, Betsy DeVos, has no personal experience with public education.

"We can go through the list of people he's already chosen and it's, quite frankly, scary," Reid stated in an interview on The Axe Files podcast.

Reid also cited concerns about US Congressman Tom Price for health and human services secretary because Price has stated he wants to privatize Medicare and get rid of abortion provider Planned Parenthood.
