WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Hatch pointed out that Price's experience as both a member of the US Congress and as a physician gives him unique insight into the challenges of the country's health care system.
"We already know that Obamacare has been a dead drag on the American economy," Hatch stated in the release. "Tom [Price] is well equipped to take on the challenge of unraveling the damage that has been done and working with Congress to implement common-sense, patient-focused reforms that will reduce health care costs and increase access to affordable, high-quality care."
Price should be able to undergo a quick and fair vetting and confirmation process, Hatch added.
