At Least One Killed, Nine Wounded in New Orleans Shooting

At least one person was killed and nine more were wounded on Sunday in a shooting that occurred in the southern US city of New Orleans, press service of the local police department said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, media reported a shooting in New Orleans left multiple casualties.

The WDSU broadcaster reported that the incident took place at about 1:30 a.m. local time (07:30 GMT), adding that the condition of the injured victims was not known yet.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to the broadcaster.
